Madelyn and Anthony Engagement Session
For Madelyn and Anthony’s engagement session we opted for an in-home lifestyle session. We incorporated the activities they love like reading, dancing in the kitchen, and just hanging out with each other to make their engagement session feel like them. We booked the Howdy House Airbnb in Alexandria, Minnesota and it was the perfect location for this engagement session.
My First Roll of Film
One goal for myself for this year was to learn something new with photography. And something that I have always wanted to try was shooting film. I have a few film cameras that I received from my aunt’s garage sales. I did not know if they worked or not and for the last few years I have been using them as decorations rather than using them as they are meant to be used. Mitchell (my husband) helped me clean some corrosion out of my Nikon A2000 film camera, I wanted to start out using this camera because it has some more auto features on it to help me as I learn film photography. Thankfully Mitchell got it working and it has been really fun playing with it and figuring it out.

Another stunning fall wedding in the books. My 2023 photo season was absolutely crazy so here I am, in January of 2024 (yes I will openly out myself here) writing about my September weddings! But my weddings last season are to perfect not to share.
One Year Anniversary Trip to Glacier National Park
Time is such a wild concept. It goes so slow in the moment but looking back it flew by. I cannot believe it has been 1 year since Mitchell and I got married. This year as been a wild ride with super high highs and very low lows. I am so glad to have found a life partner who can celebrate wins and who can stick out loses. September was a crazy month for me, I had a record amount of sessions and weddings in this month. So when the opportunity came for Mitchell and I to take a few days away I was so grateful. The mountains have been my happy place ever since my first encounter with them back in 2018 while I was in the Austrian Alps with my German class. So naturally when on a road trip to Montana to photograph a wedding, you take a few extra days to head to Glacier National Park.
Adam and Jenn
I cannot BELIEVE I am writing a blog post about a Montana wedding! Photographing destination weddings has been my dream for so long and I am so THANKFUL that Adam and Jenn trusted me and allowed my dream to come true. A few years ago I went on a road trip with a friend of mine. We drove 26 hours out to the Pacific Northwest and part of our route was driving through Montana. It was during that trip that I fell in love with Montana and needed a reason to go back. The mountains are my happy place and I am so glad Adam and Jenn brought me back.
Brooke’s Senior Session
Wrapping up my last senior session for the Class of 2024 with Brookes golden senior session at Glendalough State Park in Battle Lake Minnesota. She had a gorgeous evening for her senior session and I am so I’m so in love with her images. It was so much fun getting to know Brooke, she had traveled from Wahpeton North Dakota for this session and I was blown away at how small the world really is.
Abby’s Senior Session
Another golden glowy senior session in the books! I had so much fun photographing in downtown Fergus Falls for Abby’s senior session. I have been living in Fergus Falls Minnesota for almost two years now and this was my first session using our downtown as a backdrop! And it did not disappoint I was so excited to finally use all the amazing spots that I have been eyeing for years. Like I have had them pinned on my apple map since before I even moved here!
Veda And Joe
Engagement and couples sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. But they are extra special when couples decide to include their kids in these sessions as well. I had so much fun photography Veda and Joe at God’s Acres in Battle Lake. I had never been here before but it is the cutest little park connected to Zion Lutheran Church. It was the perfect location for this family because one I was finished photographing the family the kiddos got to go play on the playground so that I could photography their parents for a little bit. I loved getting to explore this new location and finding some beautiful spots for photos.
Luke and Serah
As a wedding photographer, I get to work with a range of couples and personalities. It is such a treat getting to work with couples that are so giggling, joyful and in love. Luke and Serah were so much fun to get to know and run around in a field at sunset with. Being around them was so inspiring and I left their session so excited to get to document their engagement pictures as well as their wedding coming up in February. Everyone deserves a love like these two, and during their session I could just feel the amount of love these two have for each other.
Kendyl’s Senior Session
Another trip to my hometown of Watertown, Minnesota in the books! It was such a weird feeling though driving around town and seeing how much had changed in two years since I moved away. But I had so much fun photographing Kendyl’s senior session and hitting all of the spots in my hometown!
Connor’s Senior Session
I love shooting senior sessions in downtown Excelsior Minnesota. There is so much variety in a smaller area. It is a perfect location for my senior mini sessions and for seniors who wants professional senior pictures taken but hates the idea of taking pictures for hours!
Battle Lake Couples Session
Another session at Glendalough State Park in Battle Lake Minnesota. And once again it did not disappoint. I love doing photo sessions at Glendalough State Park. It is a stunning location for all types of sessions but featured in the Jordan Elizabeth Photography blog today is this beautiful blue hour couples session
Emma’s Senior Session
Another stunning Glendalough State Park Senior Session for the blog today! I absolutely love this location and so far this year I have gotten to photograph 3 seniors here! It makes me so happy when I get to photograph here! Working with Emma was so much fun, and even though we had a colder, windier and overcast day I absolutely love her images!
Cam’s Senior Session
Cam’s senior session was so much fun and I am so excited to be sharing his images on the blog today! I got to travel back to my old stomping grounds of Carver County Minnesota to photograph Cam’s senior session. It was super special to get to go on location and visit Cam’s family’s home for his senior session. They built their home from the ground up and it is absolutely stunning! It is so special getting to photograph seniors at locations that mean something to them!
Kiylee’s Senior Session
Another Glendalough State Park senior session at Golden Hour in the books! I had so much fun photographing with Kiylee and taking advantage of the gorgeous Minnesota evening! Getting to know Kiylee was a blast and I am obsessed with her senior session at Glendalough State Park in Battle Lake Minnesota.
Kylie’s Senior Session
Another incredible senior session for the books! I had so much enjoying the beautiful Minnesota evening and capturing some senior pictures for Kylie! For Kylie’s senior session we visited many Fergus Falls locations and got to incorporate many of Kylie’s activities such as tennis, horses, FFA, and even racing! I had so much fun with Kylie and her family and I am so excited to be sharing her senior gallery on the blog today!
Emily’s Senior Session
Summer Senior Sessions are the main reason why I love being a Minnesota Senior Photographer. For Emily’s senior session we went to Glendalough State Park in Battle Lake Minnesota and took full advantage of all of my favorite spots in the park. From the lake, to different bridges, trails and my favorite the wildflowers. Glendalough State Park is the perfect location for you nature loving seniors for your senior session!
Thor’s Senior Session
My first Class of 2024 senior session for the year! I had so much fun photography Thor’s senior session and it was a great way to kick of my 2024 senior season! For Thor’s session we met at the Riverwalk that is located downtown Fergus Falls. The Riverwalk is a very versatile location for senior sessions and it gave Thor lot’s of variety in his images!
Kylie and Payton
Wrapping up my blog posts featuring my June weddings! Kylie and Payton had a gorgeous June Minnesota Day. They got married at Diamond Point Steakhouse in Sauk Centre. Diamond Point had such a stunning venue and outdoor ceremony space over looking Big Sauk Lake. Kylie and Payton could not have asked for a more perfect day and I am so honored to have been chosen as their wedding photographer
